This should result in a much lighter sneaker without compromising the sneaker’s rigidity. Below is a first look at the first two colorways to surface. This year may have been the year of the Reebok Kamikaze II, but 2014 marks the return of Shawn Kemp’s first signature sneaker, the Reebok Kamikaze I. Tonight we have a look at one of the first colorways we’ll see on store shelves. Draped in Seattle Supersonics colors, this pair features a black and white base with a bit of green at the rear. This upcoming colorway has received an iridescent upper, which appears metallic silver at most angles, but shifts to different colors in the light. The Nike Air Force 1 Low receives enough blue to make a Smurf fall in love with this upcoming release. The entire upper has received a deep blue, using full-grain leather and a crusted leather on the swoosh and heel areas. A matching blue sole is held together with white stitching. We’ve already seen an early image of the Maroon Air Jordan 6, but now it seems that Jordan brand has also decided to bring back another classic AJ6 colorway: Sport Blue. Both colorways have been the subject of rumors for the past few years so its awesome to finally see a production version. Originally thought to be a possible player exclusive colorway for Vanessa Bryant, the Green Glow Nike Kobe 8 Pit Viper seems to be headed to store shelves. Featuring a Green Glow and Mineral Teal upper with orange accents, this pair is a great alternative to the first Pit Viper colorway released early last month. They are scheduled to release on December 20.

With eight models and a 9th one on the way, it was just a matter of time before Nike began to create retro versions of Kobe’s previous sneakers. It looks like the Kobe II will be among the first, as images of this Wolf Grey pair just recently surfaced. The majority of the sneaker has been covered in a marble-like Wolf Grey suede, finished with a white swoosh and metallic gold accents. This colorway commemorates Kobe’s four back-to-back games with 50 or more points during the 2006-07 NBA season, with a special plaque embroidered into the insole. The release date for the Nike Kobe II Retro has not yet been announced, but stay tuned for an update soon.

It’s Gamma Blue meets 1995 with this all-new colorway of the Air Jordan 1 Retro ’95. Using a combination of leather, mesh, patent leather, and suede, this sneaker is almost completely wrapped in black, with the exception of a Gamma Blue sole and a matching Air Jordan logo. It takes inspiration from the upcoming Gamma Blue Air Jordan 11 Retro, but it the all-black upper gives it more of a “Space Jam” feel. They are scheduled to hit stores on December 7, but if you’d like to get a pair early, they are already available on eBay.
