The release of the White/Black-Taxi-Varsity Red Air Jordan 12 is now just  a little more than a week away. Wrapped in white full grain leather up top and pebbled black leather on the bottom with a matching sole, this pair looks as good as its 1996 release. Check out these fresh images of the upcoming “Gamma Blue” Jordan 6 Rings. It sports a black leather upper with Gamma Blue accents and a hint of Varsity Maize on the tongue logo and sock liner. Originally thought to be a kids exclusive, it turns out that this colorway will release in mens sizes also. They will hit stores on December 7, retailing at $160.

Nike Air Max 90 Essential “Laser Pink”

Nike Zoom Kobe 1 Retro “Prelude”

Last week, we got a sneak peak at the upcoming “Wolf Grey” Nike Kobe 1 Retro, one of the first planned retro releases of Kobe’s first sneaker. Tonight have a look at another special colorway. Called the “Prelude”, this pair features a black leather upper which appears to be constructed of very high quality leather. A collage print covers the swoosh and heel areas. while carbon and icy clear rubber create the sole. Nike KD VI (6) EXT “Wheat” QS

Here’s a look and some release info on the “Wheat” Nike KD VI EXT, Kevin Durant’s first secondary sneaker. The pair comes covered in a beautiful light brown, matched with Raspberry Red accents on the sock liner and outsole. The sneaker comes with the option of either Gamma Blue or Raspberry Red laces, either of which will be hooped through its boot-style eyelets. Nike Air Max 95 “Brave Blue”

The Nike Air Max 95 gets a deep blue treatment with this recently-released colorway. The entire upper has been wrapped in Brave Blue suede with the exception of matching mesh below the laces. White striped eyelets and a a matching tongue provide a nice contrast to the otherwise dark color scheme. The partially visible sole reveals a white Max Air unit. Nike Kobe 9 (IX) Official Images

Today at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Nike finally unveiled Kobe Bryant’s next basketball sneaker, the Nike Kobe 9. The environment suits the occasion, as the Kobe 9 is truly a piece of art. Created with Kobe’s personality as inspiration, this pair marks a return to a high top cut for the Kobe lineup, and also introduces Nike’s Flyknit technology, usually seen on running sneakers. In addition, the sneaker also incorporates a Lunarlon sole and the previously used Flywire material. Carbon fiber has also been used on the heel for extra stability. The end result is a beautiful sneaker that minimizes weight without compromising strength or stability. The Kobe 9 Elite is scheduled to release on February 8. Stay tuned for more details.

Wolf Grey continues to make its way through Nike’s many classic designs, and now the Nike Air Pegasus ’89 is the latest victim. Using the typical mesh and suede and mesh fabric selection, this pair comes with a Wolf Grey upper, contrasted with Photo Blue on the swoosh and ankle areas. Atomic Orange has been appied to the tongue logo and eyelets. This colorway is expected to release on December 20.

Nike Kobe VIII (8) “What the Kobe” Release Details

Air Jordan 1 Retro Mid – Black/Gym Red

If this year’s onslaught of Air Jordan 1 releases wasn’t enough for you, the folks at Jordan Brand are already gearing up for another round of hot colorways. This Air Jordan 1 Mid colorway takes some inspiration from the classic “Bred” high top design, but incorporates suede. Gym Red suede covers a large portion of the sneaker, with the inner panels consisting of black leather. A red sock liner and matching graphics keep the sneaker coordinated, while a set of fat striped black and red laces set this Air Jordan 1 apart from past black and red releases. A U.S. release date has not been announced yet, but it looks like the overseas site Urbanpeople is at least taking orders. Stay tuned for an update on this beautiful colorway.

Nike Kobe VIII (8) System “SS”

“SS”? Typically on muscle cars, it stands for “Super Sport” Unfortunately, this special version of the Nike Kobe is no car. Perhaps is stands for “Super Snake” (like another car) or maybe “Super Star”. Created to bring in Christmas, this pair has received an almost reptilian-like upper, covered in Cool Grey scales which fade to a darker grey. Electric Green has been used on the scaled swoosh and outsole. Black accents allow the colors to blend in nicely, while a speckled misole does the rest. The Nike Kobe 8 System SS will hit stores on the day after Christmas, December 26. Retail price is $160.

Nike Dunk High “Cherry Red”

Not everyone likes cherries, but it’s hard to resist this new Cherry Red Nike Dunk High colorway. Most of the upper has been wrapped in a beautiful Cherry Red suede fabric, with the exception of the midfoot, swoosh and tongue areas, which have all received 3M reflective material. Tonight we finally have some release info on the upcoming “Green Glow” Nike Kobe 8. Featuring a Green Glow version of the Kobe Pit Viper design, this pair has been accentuated with Laser Orange on the sock liner and midsole. A hint of Mineral Teal on the upper helps to even things out. It’s an incredibly bright colorway, but if breaking necks is your goal, this is the sneaker for you. Nike Air Tech Challenge Huarache “Cool Grey”
