Jordan Brand has decided to get into the world of soccer with this new World Cup-themed Air Jordan VI colorway. This pair pays tribute to Brazil, the location of the 2014 FIFA World Cup. Apparently, this colorway is limited to just 200 pairs. Release info has still not been announced but expect them to be exceptionally difficult to acquire, especially with such a short production run and soccer’s worldwide popularity. From Sole-Up.

Air Jordan II (2) Retro – White/Deep Purple-Black – New Images

Here’s another look at the “Concord”,  or White/Black-Deep Purple Air Jordan II Retro. Taking inspiration from the infamous Air Jordan 11 colorway, this pair has received a white base, elephant print on the sides, and black and purple accents. Sure, it’s a bit more purple than the Air Jordan XIs, but it definitely works. They are scheduled to hit stores on May 10, retailing fro $170.

Air Jordan VI (6) Retro – Black/Venom Green

Jordan Brand’s 2014 Air Jordan 6 onslaught is looking better and better, especially with hot new colorways like this Black/Venom Green model surfacing every couple of weeks. Using a combination of leather and suede, this pair has received a primarily black upper, contrasted with a yellow tongue logo and matching lace lock. The black midsole has been speckled with white, while a hint of green adds an extra touch. The traditional icy clear outsole remains present. No official release information on this colorway is available yet, but expect an update in the next couple of weeks.

This pair features a predominantly grey upper, consisting of full-grain leather and safari print. Beautiful purple accents really bring the sneaker to life, overlaid with crimson speckles and matching graphics. A deep black garnishes the tongue. Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Barons” Release Info

In addition to the Air Jordan IX, Jordan Brand is also celebrating MJ’s first love with this special Birmingham Barons-themed Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG release. In similar fashion to the 9s, this pair features a white and black base, complemented with Wolf Grey accents. A striped grey and black sock liner provides a nice touch as well. They will release on Saturday, April 5, but stores like Footaction, Footlocker, and Champs will implement the ticketing procedures for these starting tomorrow, April 2 through Thursday, April 3. Most other shops will release these on a first come, first serve basis. As always, you can save yourself some time and effort and get them a little early on eBay. Nike “What The” LeBron 11 and KD 6

With so much success over the past few years, it should come as no surprise that Nike had another “What The” sneaker up its sleeve, but how about two? Here’s a first look a the upcoming “What the LeBron” Nike LeBron 11 and “What the KD” Nike KD 6. For the LeBron XI, Nike has chosen to not only incorporate design cues from past colorways, but past models as well. It features 28 different elements, such as the tongue stying of the LeBron VII and the Akron map from the LeBron V. The KD VI incorporates 35 design cues from the past Nike KD VI releases, featuring just about every color and pattern your eye can imagine. The “What the LeBron” Nike LeBron XI will hit stores on May 31, followed by the “What the KD” Nike KD VI on June 7.

Nike Basketball Elite Series Hero Collection

As a follow up to last year’s Super Hero series, Nike has once again gathered the big three to create the Nike Basketball Elite Series Hero Collection. This year’s version features the Nike LeBron 11 Elite, Nike Kobe 9 Elite, and Nike KD 6 Elite, all in very unique colorways. The Nike LeBron 11 Elite Hero sports a bright crimson upper, contrasted with with teal green and black accents and metallic styling on the midfoot and heel areas. The Nike Kobe 9 Elite Hero utilizes a light grey Flyknit fabric, overlaid with Turbo Green, purple, and yellow accents, perfectly representing Kobe’s Laker heritage and close call with the Hornets. The Nike KD 6 Elite Hero uses Turbo Green as well, matched with a hot pink swoosh, orange accents, and a lighter green on the laces, midsole, and heel. A hint of orange can be seen as well. The Nike Basketball Elite Series Hero Collection is scheduled to hit stores on May 9.

Air Jordan IV Retro White/Cement 2012 Retro!

There’s been rumors about these for a long time, but after 12 years, it looks like Jordan Brand’s first retro sneaker (excluding the Nike AJ releases) is finally coming back. Here’s a look at the White/Cement Grey Air Jordan IV Retro, planned for release in 2012. Of course, Jordan Brand is still adamant about replacing the “Nike Air” logo with the Jumpman, so don’t expect these to be an exact replica of the 1999 version. Depite that, they look pretty good. The folks at Supreme have finally provided us with some release info on their latest and most anticipated collaborated with Nike, The Nike Air Foamposite One Supreme. This release includes two colorways of the classic sneaker, black or red. Each pair has received a beautiful brocade print on the Foamposite upper, finished off with an icy clear sole. In addition, Supreme has designed some beautiful matching gear to rock with the shoes, including shorts and a matching jersey. Air Jordan IX (9) Retro “Barons” Images and Release Details

The release for Jordan Brand’s Air Jordan 9-based tribute to MJ’s baseball career is almost here, and we now have some info to make copping a pair that much easier. The White/Black-Wolf Grey Air Jordan IX will officially hit stores on April 5, but stores like Footlocker and Footaction will implement the ticketing system. Tickets will be given out starting Wednesday, April 2, through Thursday, April 3. Selected ticket holders will be notified via phone on Friday, April 4, with pick on Saturday, April 5. Most other stores will release these on a first come, first serve basis. Additionally, the IXs will release online at most sites beginning at Saturday at 8:00 a.m. EDT. If you’re still stressed about getting a pair, you can sleep in late and order them now on eBay and Amazon.
