The Air Jordan 1 Metallic series gets revived this year, starting with this upcoming White/Metallic Red colorway. Here’s a look at the upcoming sneaker.
One of the original Air Jordan 1 colorways, this pair utilizes a mostly white leather upper, complemented with bright red graphics. The swoosh graphics have received a bright red patent leather, giving the sneaker it’s “metallic look”. White laces give the sneaker a clean look, while a white and red sole ensures a consistent theme throughout. We last saw the sneaker in 2009, released as part of a Metallic series. This version however, looks to be the closest we’ve seen to the sneaker’s original release.
An exact release date has not yet been announced, but expect to see the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG Metallic Red on store shelves sometime in May. Most likely, the sneaker will retail for $160. Stay tuned for more info and detailed photos of the sneaker in the near future.
