Air Jordan 9 “Baseball Glove”

When most older sneakerheads think of the Air Jordan 9, it brings back memories of Jordan’s shortlived baseball career after retiring for the first time. The new Air Jordan 9 Baseball Glove colorway takes those memories to a different level, using design cues from MJ’s forgettable days in the outfield for the Birmingham Barons Double-A minor league baseball team.

This colorway features mostly black leather construction, complemented with a black mesh tongue and contrasting white lining. Taking the design of a baseball glove as inspiration, the sneaker has been outfitted with black leather cross-stitching on the sides. The tongue logo is embroidered in white, while a black and white sole has been applied to complete the theme.
