Love him or hate him, it’s hard to deny that Michael Vick had one of the hottest signature sneaker lines for a football player ever. Apparently the folks at Nike agree, and it seems that they’re planning to bring back the Nike Air Zoom Vick II in Fall 2015. With its clean black and white upper, and red accents, its easy to see why the original Atlanta Falcons colorway was chosen, despite his current tenure with the New York Jets. Undoubtedly, this release will be followed by additional, all-new colorways. This release will mark the first time that Nike has reinstated an athlete’s contract after a previous termination. Perhaps if the re-release receives the same level of success as it did in 2005, Nike will decide to continue the line with a new model, similar to the revival of the Nike Air Penny and Pippen series. With Vick still an active player, the chances are even more likely. From TSG.
